Since 1935, The Colonnade has developed into one of Florida's finest restaurants. This has been accomplished because of a sincere effort to satisfy EVERY customer by serving only the highest quality food available. To assure excellence in seafood quality, all food is expertly prepared in our kitchen. Nothing is pre-breaded or pre-cooked before it reaches our restaurant. During bad weather or during certain seasons, fishing is affected and this may cause a shortage of supply. Excuse us, if we are out of a menu item, because there is no substitute for fresh quality food. Our steaks are cut from aged, USDA choice or prime meat. Absolutely no tenderizers or artificial flavorings added. Our soups, chowder, sauces, salad dressings and other menu items are prepared by our staff using only the finest ingredients available. All baked items (pies, muffins, etc.) are prepared in our own bakery. We believe the higher price we pay to produce quality is well worth the deference in the finished product. Four generations of the Whiteside family have established a tradition of serving a superior product at family prices. This, coupled with friendly, efficient service and a unique informal atmosphere, sets The Colonnade apart from most other restaurants.
